ProPay to Provide Simple Secure Donation Process for Little Green Light

Release date: 11/19/2013

Little Green Light’s web-based donor management tool to meet increased demand from nonprofits

LEHI, Utah, and COLUMBUS, Ga., Nov. 19, 2013 — ProPay, a TSYSâ company, today announced that it will provide nonprofits and organizations using Little Green Light LLC (LGL) online donation solutions with simple, secure and complete end-to-end payment processing services.

So far in 2013, there has been a 21-percent increase in online donations in the U.S.*, and the trend is expected to continue in 2014. This growth will dynamically impact the need for processing and administration solutions in the donations space. With this new technology, nonprofits will be able to create customizable “donate now” forms for one-time and recurring donations via all major credit cards — both U.S. and international — as well as ACH transactions from U.S. banks.

ProPay offers a simple, online self-enrollment process that enables nonprofits to begin accepting credit cards within minutes. Nonprofits will be able to obtain the service regardless of whether they are customers of LGL's donor management service. For LGL customers, the donation service will be fully integrated to automatically reflect the status of the customer's LGL account. ProPay's JAK™ mobile card reader will be available to customers who want to process card-present transactions.

“By partnering with ProPay, we will provide nonprofits with an easy and secure online donations platform and mobile tool to accept payments that best meets our customers' needs,” says Nicholas Bicknell, chief executive officer and LGL co-founder. “ProPay is known for offering excellent pricing and technology for the nonprofit industry.”

Greg Pesci, president of ProPay, added, "We have been impressed by the level of innovation shown by Little Green Light and the growth they've achieved in the nonprofit industry in a short period of time. We are excited to provide the payments piece for their integrated donation services."
