RE:      Change in terms for ProPay Prepaid Mastercard® Card Account
            Effective Date: 01/29/2020
Dear ProPay Customer,
As of 01/29/2020, some of the terms of the Cardholder Agreement associated with your ProPay Prepaid Mastercard® Card (“Card”) will be changing.
This notice contains a description of the terms that are changing and how your Card will be affected. Any terms not mentioned in this letter will remain unchanged or do not impact your rights under the Cardholder Agreement. Please read and keep a copy of this notice for your records.
The following changes will be made to the Cardholder Agreement for your Card:
  1. The Initial Fee, Annual, and Account Continuation Fee previously disclosed in the Cardholder Agreement governing Card use are still applicable, but have been moved to the Electronic Funds Transfer Agreement with ProPay that governs use of the ProPay Account.
  2. Account fee descriptor for International ACH Out has changed from CK Fee to Intl. CK Fee.
  3.  The Currency Conversion section was updated to add language regarding returned foreign transactions.   If you make a foreign transaction that is later returned we will post a credit for the full amount of the original transaction, but will debit the difference between the currency conversion rate at the time of the original transaction and the currency conversion rate at the time of the return. This will show as a “Returned FX Difference” on the Account history.
  4. The “Your Liability for Unauthorized Transfers” section is now referred to as the “Unauthorized Transactions” section and the “In case of errors or questions about your Electronic Transfers” section was removed in order to update and explain your current rights and responsibilities regarding unauthorized transactions.  Prior rights such as provisional credit and investigation timelines are now at our discretion due to the intended use for this Card, as opposed to the rights and timelines disclosed in the prior Cardholder Agreement.
Should you choose not to accept the changes as described above, you will need to contact customer service at 800.365.7816 from within the U.S. or 801.717.2537 from outside the U.S.  If you reject these changes, your Card will be closed, and you will receive a refund of the funds remaining in your Card account via check at no charge.   Please allow 30 days to process the refund minus any trailing activity and applicable fees.
