1. What is ProPay JAK?

A simple, secure and very affordable card reader device that plugs into the audio jack of your Smartphone.

2. How much does ProPay JAK cost?

The ProPay JAK for Apple® iOS is just $49.95—with a special introductory offer of $39.95 plus shipping and handling. The ProPay JAK for Android™ is just $59.95 —with a special  offer of $39.95 plus shipping and handling.

3. Which phones and devices are supported by ProPay JAK?

Currently, ProPay JAK is compatible with iPhone® 4, 4S, 3G, 3GS, iPod touch® 3rd and 4th generations, iPad®, and iPad 2. The ProPay JAK is compatible with the following Android phones and devices:

• Motorola Milestone, DROID X, Droid Pro, Xoom Tab
• HTC Eris, Incredible, Hero, EVO 4G, EVO Shift 4G, Aria, Desire Z, My Touch 4G, G2
• Samsung Epic, Fascinate, Captivate, Galaxy Tab, Nexus S
• LG Optimus S, Optimus T.
• Dell Streak

4. What can you do with ProPay JAK?

• Process credit and debit cards in real time on your Smartphone wherever you have data coverage.
• Store encrypted transactions safely on the phone for later processing if coverage is not available. Put cardholder data “on file” with ProPay’s ProtectPay® for future billing. Capture your customer’s signature at the point of sale.
• Send an e-mail receipt to your customers.
• Toggle between real-time processing and store-for-later (suspended) processing.
• Check your ProPay Account information.

There are no annual or monthly fees for using the device. However a ProPay Account with an active ProtectPay subscription is required. Normal processing fees apply and are dependent on which account type you have.

8. Is insurance available for my ProPay JAK?

Currently there is not any insurance available for purchase.

9. Where do I set up my PIN to access the ProPay Application?

You will be prompted to set up your PIN to access the ProPay Application when you log in the first time.

10. How long will my suspended transactions be available on my phone?

Your suspended transactions will remain on your phone as encrypted blocks of data until they are processed with a data connection or deleted.
