ProPay is a merchant account provider; it does not necessarily enable e-commerce.

1. Can I use ProPay on my eCommerce website?

Yes, ProPay offers several options to enable using your merchant account with your eCommerce Website.

One option is our Application Programming Interface that allows you to link your web site or shopping cart to your ProPay Account using XML. If you are comfortable with the programming, or you have a webmaster or business associate who is, this option may be for you. To find out more about how to use the ProPay XML Interface to create automated transaction processing on your website, please contact websitetools@propay.com. Keep in mind, there are additional fees for the Application Programming Interface.

2. Does ProPay offer Buy Now Buttons?

ProPay does not currently offer any Buy Now Buttons.

4. What is ProPay's Application Programming Interface?

The Application Programming Interface seamlessly links your ProPay Account to your existing website or shopping cart. It works by sending your transaction information from your website or shopping cart to ProPay's website for processing. It is compatible with most shopping carts and websites, enables monthly recurring revenue, automated processing, and is customizable according to your needs.

5. Can I automate my credit card transactions?

Automating your credit card transactions is possible only by using ProPay's Application Programming Interface. Otherwise all transactions will need to be manually entered in your ProPay Account.

6. Does ProPay offer batch processing?

Batching your credit card transactions and submitting them at once is possible only by using ProPay's Application Programming Interface. Otherwise all transactions will need to be manually entered in your ProPay Account.

7. Does ProPay charge additional gateway fees?

No, unlike other services that charge payment gateway fees bundled with merchant accounts, ProPay does not charge such fees.
